Norway All Norwegian public assignments estimated at a value of NOK 500 000:- or more are to be published through the electronic database DOFFIN. In the database you may find advertisements, above and below the EU/EEA threshold values - either by isolating the search to key words as well as to CPV codes, or by searching through all the public notices. As far as business opportunities below the EU/EEA thresholds are concerned, these may also be searched for by postal codes. A new act on public purchases came into effect on July 1, 2001. Norwegian acts and regulations above the EU/EEA threshold values follow the same EU directives, through the EEA Agreement, as the EU member states. There is one authority of appeal in Norway handling matters dealing with public purchases, Klagenemnda for offentlige anskaffelser (KOFA). |
