Iceland

Public Procurement in Iceland encompasses about 700 million EUR on a yearly basis. Being an EEA country, Iceland is subject to the mutual regulations regarding publication of calls above the threshold values.

Governmental authorities are subject to a compulsory publication of calls from 110 000 EUR for goods and building contracts and from 55 000 EUR for services. "State Trading Agency", Ríkiskaup, is under construction in which a particular body - the "State Trading Agency" - will take responsibility for all governmental procurement advertisements. A website will provide public access to these advertisements.
